i LIFTED my 4rnr, and now...

i lifted my four runner toytec 3" spacers in the front and 2.5" in the back...

NOW the right (passenger) side sits level 2 fists gap bt. wheel and fender in the front and 2 fists in the back, and the left side is the same in the front 2 fists, BUT IN THE BACK IT'S 2 FISTS AND ABOUT 2 FINGERS...

WHY IS THE LEFT REAR SITTING HIGHER...

i thought i saw a thread about this on here, if someone could post that link... (i know, i know use the search button and i did)

i searched for: (one side higher), (height difference), (side higher lift), and a bunch that i can't remember

i hope someone here can help me out...

Did you check to see if the truck was perfectly level side to side before installing the lift? Mine sat a full 1/2" different (left side was lower) right from the factory.

I doubt the spacer lift caused the issue, but it may have amplified it.

You may want to ensure the coils are in the same position they were before you installed the spacer.

I don't remember if this applies to the rear, but for the front, if you don't re-install them in the same orientation as they were before, you will affect the ride height.

For instance, on the front strut, the coil seat is shaped to match the coil spring. If you re-install the spring at the 9:00 position vs the coil spring seat has the end at 3:00, the coil will actually sit higher on the strut (take a look at your struts and you'll see what I mean).

I can't remember if the rear coil seats have the same "indentations" to account for the spring ends.

The rear does have indentions for the bottom of the spring. I just found this out today. I had my Daystar lift installed and tried it off road. It was squeaking in the rear. I looked at the springs and they were not rotated into the indentions in the seat causing the spring to bind on the seat. I unbolted the shock lower ends and jacked up the rear. The sping can then easily be rotated into the indention and problem was solved. This also lowered the rear slightly.
