I Love mine so far!

I hate to steal someone else's thread, but it seemed like a good place to start. :)

I'd just like to say that I like my 5G a little better every time I get in it. I admit, the first time I got out of my 04 and into the 10 for a test drive, it felt like I was in a strange place, but now after a couple of weeks it seems like the RIGHT place for me - I really like the feel of the differences.

Sure, there have been some trade-offs, but I'm really impressed with the basic package. I think it feels more solid than the previous ones and I thought THEY were darned good! I judge my vehicles by how much I look forward to driving them and all of the 4Runners have excelled in that department and this one looks like it may top the list! :)

I agree. While I've never driven other 4Runner's, I love my 2010. Funny that I judge vehicles by how much I look forward to driving them as well. I cannot wait to get behind the wheel every time. Just got back from a 300 mile round trip on the PA Turnpike, through the mountains, and up into the snow covered roads in the mountains. The traction was awesome. A friend of mine had to use chains to get up the mountain in his 2009 Ram truck (I know there's no weight in the back which is why that was happening), but my 4Runner made it up in 4W Hi with no problems. I also tested the Downhill Assist Control and it worked very well. One thing I learned is you cannot shift into 4WD Low unless you are in park. I thought you could do it in neutral, but it wouldn't allow me.

Anyway, we now have almost 1,700 miles on it and we've only owned it for a month now. After this vacation week, it needs to sit for a while (which is depressing).

1 week old and 1700 miles already. Put it this way, my BMW Z4M Coupe has been sitting in the garage since I picked up my T4R. So I'm also in the "I Love mine so far!" Club!

Actually, you read my post wrong. It's one month old with 1,700 miles. I just mentioned that I'm on vacation this week and put a lot of miles on it because of that. So I guess I do not need to buy a Z4M now? ;)

I just drove mine back from San Diego and loved it. Good ride and power and it has that big truck feeling I like. When I parked it in the garage where I used to park my Titan I had plenty of room showing me its not actually that big. The blue tooth is awsome too.

Ditto. Got my silver TE as promised before New Year. I will be following up with impressions. Less than 50miles so far. Need to get it out of my garage this weekend. This is one cool truck. OooRa!
