I LOVE my 4runner

Ever have those days where you think "Damn..I love my 4runner"?

I needed a gargantuan amount of wood for building my back room into a studio. Today I came back with 20 pieces of soundboard strapped to the top and 20 2x4s stacked inside. Effortless.

Yes, everytime i look at/drive mine! Side note...How do you like your interior/exterior LED's? I've been debating them for a bit now. Thanks

mainly when im wheelin and it gets me to and from the trail is when i continuously kiss the steering wheel as my girlfriend watches with jealous eyes.

haha, you guys crack me up.
4Runner4.7: I, along with many other members, have done the interior/exterior LED swap. I would highly recommend it! It's one of the first things I did to my truck and I wouldn't trade it for anything. The extra "light" it gives during the night is unparalleled to anything else.
It looks great inside the glovebox, domes, and vanity lights. I even did my license plate bulbs so the 5-0s can't say anything about my plates not being visible at night.
Read JA's writeup on his page and you'll get a ton of info on it. I'd seriously look into it!

I know exactly what you are talking about! i have those days about once a month where i just am in love and excited with my T4R.

@4Runner4.7 I would highly recommend doing the LED swap. It made a huge difference and is one of the easiest mods to do. JA has an awesome write up that will walk you through each step.

Anyone doing any new mods over Christmas?

Well, I don't go as far as kissing the steering wheel(!), but I do find myself often stealing a scene from George Kennedy in the first "Airport" movie by patting the hood while saying "Nice job Sweetheart!". She's a '08 V6 4wd Limited with LED swap.

Thanks for the info on the LED swap guys. You were right, JA has a great write-up, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Looks like I'll be getting weathertechs, seat covers, and the LED swap for the holidays. Enjoy the holidays guys. Thanks again.

The first week I bought my runner, I was up at 8am (I'm 20 so thats considered really early when i'm not working) every morning to drive it, I couldnt stop thinking about it, and I still find myself glancing back at it in parking lots as I walk away thinking "I can't believe that's mine" lol.

Yea I def love my 4runner! I always look back at it when I'm walking away haha
And I'm getting an early Xmas gift :)
Me and a friend are putting in Bilstein 5100s all around this weekend! Sooo flippin excited!

I was impressed with this load it is 55' of fencing also in the truck not seen is 8 bags of cement 80lbs each! even though i drove slow it didn't even seem to struggle at all
I was saying I love my 4runner!

My wife sort of took the 4Runner off of me. We bought the BMW to be her daily driver and then found a very good deal on the 4Runner and bought it too within about a month of buying the BMW. She likes driving the 4Runner better than the BMW, so I find myself driving the BMW as often as the Volvo. I hardly ever get to drive the 4Runner though. When the snow starts to fall that will change though.

They are quite unique cars. Most people comment when they're in it and the Cruiser about how substantial they feel. It holds the road quite well, even at 100+.

You really appreciate it when your in an American POS w/ the same mileage and it feels like it's going to disintegrate over every bump.

God I thought I was the only freak in the world but it looks like I fit right in. I love my 4Runner. Sometimes before I turn the light off and close the door to the garage I take a second long look.

I also swapped out all the interior lights to LED. Love it and everyone riding in my 4Runner loves it too. My LEDs (from ebay) put out a nice white light. The only problem I have had is the glove box light.
