I need a comparison btw Icon and Radflo Coilovers...

Both are very high quality coilovers.
If you are looking at Radflo from overland warehouse I would pick those over Icons b/c they were designed specifically for 4th gens (different valving and springs than normal Radflos) and the guys who own OW are great to deal with. They will go out of their way to help out and have been a huge benefit to the 4Runner community. I have wheeled with both of them numerous times.

Thank you for the input. I just want something stiff on the road. I'm sure both are more than capable off-road and appear to be suited towards the same end.

2nd the OW/radflo kit. I am running the 2.5 kit with no added weight and it rides great. It is firm but comfortable. There is a 2.0 kit for stock weight trucks. Just shoot Andries an email and tell him your needs and he can custum valve the shocks. Check the reviews here and over at toyota120.com.

I ran Icons (front resis & rear monotube, AP 3.5" springs) on my FJC. I'm running Radflo/OW 2.5s now on my runner (using AP 3.5" springs). Honestly, if this is your first lifted rig, you won't tell the difference. Even if its not your first it'll be hard to tell. Both are constructed with premium materials. One thing I do like better with the icons is how the front coils have less turns, which equates to less coil bind and less clearance issues, IMO. OW (2.0, 2.5) offer way better rear shocks in their kits, the Icon monotubes are crappy, constrution and durability wise. Icon offers piggy rears, but they're expensive, and honestly much more shock than you'll need.
Icons use 600lbs coils for the front, OW uses 700lbs coils for the front, which leads to a stiffer ride for a stock weighted vehicle. If you're not going to run steel/armor now or in the future, go with OWs 2.0 or Icons setup. If you're goal is increased ride height for the street, no sense in spending the coin for OW 2.5 or the Icons, since they are comparable in price. Might as well go with OW 2.0. Considering your application, you should also look at Toytecs adjustable coilover kits.
