Can someone take a DMM and check the resistance value of the wire that goes from the 7.5 amp "ALT" fuse that's in the fuse box by the battery, to the 7.5amp "IGN" fuse in the fuse box in the cab?
It's really easy to do, just remove the said fuses and insert the probes of the DMM into the right hand terminal of the slot in the fuse box that's by the battery and also into the left hand terminal of the slot in the box in the cab. There is no power on this wire once the fuses are out so your meter will be safe btw.
My wire is reading 8.9 Kohms which seems really high to me (I'm trying to track down an intermittant charging issue that I've been having).
