I have an Old Man Emu 2.5" suspension lift and LOVE IT. It rides 10x better than the XREAS. Parts and installation ran me $1200 two years ago. You can see the parts and some examples of lifted 4th gen 4R's at sleeoffroad.com...those guys lifted my rig. Good luck.

I just spent 700 and had a ReadyLift- SST 3" Front and 2" Rear
that 700 includes a re-alignment and I am also going back tomorrow to have the kit checked for tightness.
Under the 4th gen forum, go to the kevlar/tire info thread and I have a bunch of picts with the lift. I was able to keep factory ride and cram 305/70/16s on it. Gives me a huge gain in clearance. Also pretty cost efficient. The install only cost 160. The kit cost most of the money. :driving:

The best bang for the buck is the Old Man Emu Setup. About $800 will get you Coils and shocks all the way around.

I went with Bilstein 5100s and Old Man Emu shocks. Install is wednesday.

well im planning to lift it just for looks right now because i dont have time to go offroading these days. i just want it to be about 3 or 4 inches higher.

your talking about the OME lift? so should i get the front and rear coils light and add the top plate?

If you are just going for looks, I would not discount spacers. They are a great entry/bang-for-your-buck investment. I had spacers for a long time and wheeled the piss out of my truck without any problem.
