I need diffrent seats....

well i need new seats for my 87 4runner.... im tired of sitting on the frame of the seat. since no one around this area has toyota truck/4runner seats does anyone no of any other seats from other vehicles that could be a possible bolt in???? i dont need back seats, there still ok but the front are totally hashed! :thanks:

You can actually unbolt your seat from the rails its sitting on and bolt just about any seat to it instead of unbolting the whole thing from the floor and having to find a toyota specific seat. Ive got ford bronco seats in mine.

those are both good ideas, my seats actually dont slide forward or back the wires were all torn out when i got it, i was looking to just try to get new everything so they actually work right and i dont have to crawl over them to get in back

It's really easy to fix the sliding part, just take a coat hanger and cut it so it's long enough to hook into both locking mechanisms.

EDIT: That will fix the driver's side seat, the passenger seat needs a special part. I'd recommend putting 2nd gen seats in, you just have to drill new holes for the 2 back bolts on the passenger side, the rest match up with a little muscle.
