This morning I was looking through my center console trying to find something. I discovered that the small bottle of hand sanitizer I keep in there had leaked all over. No damage to the truck, but the clutter inside was coated. My old 97 T4R didn't have this problem because you could barely fit 3 cassette tapes in the center console. This massive bucket sized console is a new thing for me, and I am now determined fix the issue. I need to get the center console organized better.
What are some of the things that you folks are doing to organize the clutter? I want the console to be as functional as possible (i.e. keeping it empty to avoid clutter is not an option). I was thinking of some kind of partition system, but there are a few concerns/desires with that.
* I don't want to block the AUX input & the 120V outlet
* I want something sturdy enough that will not fall apart
* I want something that could possibly be reconfigured down the line if needed
My first instinct was to manufacture something out of plywood or MDF, but I would rather avoid that if at all possible. I would like something lightweight that could be removed easily if possible.
I know I am asking a lot, but I was hoping someone out there had a good solution. Thanks!
