I'm finally getting around to making my sliders and id like everyones opinion on how I'm doing it. I'm doing it as cheap as possible meaning i don't want to go to a shop and pay them bend the tubing. so this is the idea that i came up with after looking at the steel i have and other aftermarket sliders available.

please ignore

please ignore the measurements and lack of cemety. rough draft drawn out in 2 minutes. and the outside bar is going to have 5 supports not 4

Or at least cut the ends at an angle so they can slide over the rocks. No bending will be needed and you can just cap them to keep moisture out. Bending will look better though.

Ramming speed

I say bend them. If you plan on ramming then into stuff, the square ends would get caught up on things a lot more than if the ends were rounded.

The ends are going to be 2 inches toward the center from the wheel wells so I'm hoping that if I catch anything there ill still be able to push past it
