I need some pictures! Anybody want to help??

So... I was in an accident about a month ago and I just got the truck back on Monday. While the bodywork was phenomenal, I feel like some things don't look the same as I remember; however, it is possible that after a month of not seeing it I have become unfamiliar with it to an extent. What I am looking for is a picture of the driver side wheel well and the front part of the fender liner. As close as possible the better. This is because I feel like the splash shield is different and there is a small bolt exposed through the black padding. I looked at a 2006 sr5 and it looks the same as it but I still think it doesn't look just right. The other picture I am looking for is a top-down view of the section between the front bumper and engine compartment (with the hood up, of course). If you have any pictures PLEASE post them!

If you think it doesn't look quite right, it's because it isn't. Body shops miss the smallest details all the time. I think most of the time these minor misses are attributed to aftermarket parts instead of OEM. There are always fitment issues with low cost aftermarket parts. Did you post up your damage shots?

My bad... 05 V8 SE. I trust the shop but you're right, sometimes they miss little things. All parts replaced were OEM but maybe there are small differences between years? The first picture shows the splash shield as seen from above the driver's side tire towards the front inner. The second shows some random small bolt poking through and a missing grommet, which the shop is getting for me.

Sh*t tends to happen quite more often when you're a 20 year old chick speeding around a corner in a parking garage while smoking a cigarette... Then you tend to create an accident with an unsuspecting 4Runner driver!

Haha not really. I ended up being able to find most of what I needed from other random posts of people installing lift kits and I also went to the dealership and had my contact inspect everything. I guess I am overly paranoid sometimes...

I see this alot! People never look at their car loser than after they get it back from a body shop, and every stone chip and scuff or scratch wasn`t there before their accident! People notice things they`ve never seen before therefore something must be wrong! I`m not saying your right or wrong, but in my experience your probly jus being paranoid! I once had this lady bring her car back and raising hell because she swore we screwed up her car cuz there was a rattle in the dash everytime she made a turn. We took it for a drive and found about 8 pens rolling around in her glove box! Lol!

You're probably completely right. I look at that thing all the time from every angle and I think I just started to forget what it looked like before the accident. Everything checked out ok after all...

With all the accidents i've been through from my previous cars, they never were the same. Yes, i once had a new rear bumper, new hood, new door, new window, etc. But after the repairs tho they're OEM parts, either it's the old paint not matching with the new one OR i get to see a centimeter off somewhere.

Wow... I just had the front bumper and some suspension components replaced. They did a great job but the bumper is ever so slightly off. Noone else would notice it but me and probably you. The good part about the cladding and some other pieces is that they come painted from the factory in the same colors from the same paint. I'm not sure how different the cars look between each car if they change the paint batch but I would assume it's less than mixing it aftermarket.
