I need to come back here more. GMtrucks forum and the new Colorado's have been sucking me in.....Test drove the new Duramax Colorado yesterday and almost gave up my Runner. The problems with my Silverado and the almost zero problems with my Runner aren't sticking to my mind as they should be. Maybe I need to dump some cash into a lift and AT3s to appreciate her again.....

Agreed with others. I guess if you wanted to make sense. . . what does the truck offer you the 4runner doesn't? Also what will you be using the vehicle for mostly? Is the diesel necessary? Talk about night and day difference service wise. Not only will you have chevy reliability issues, but anything for a diesel repair be expected to pay double or more because of the diesel motor. For that reason the 4runner sells itself even more. Want a truck get a Tacoma. . want brute force haul all max tow power get a Tundra.
Want to blend in with the women that want a truck . .get a new luxury colorado..kidding!

But what was so appealing about the vehicle besides the fact that is is new?

Well I want a truck again. And the Tundra is very tempting. I may find an older one with the 4.7 and keep it around for the dirty jobs.

That Chrysler 300 was the WORST purchase I've ever made and I've made some bad purchases. We paid 5K for the car and I've had to put 2K into it to keep it running. and it's only got 82K on it! It still look and smells new inside and out but the 3.5L V6 is a piece of crap. We do road trips in my Runner because it's more dependable and cheaper on gas and maintenance. :smash:
