I need to pick one: OME 885 or Toytec 3"

For my '07 sport V8, 140k miles. The reason I ask is because it seems to me from the tons of pics I've looked at, people are getting more lift in the front with the OME 885 than with the Toytec 3" coil over. Am I correct in what I am seeing or are both going to give me 3"?

OME will give you 2.5 and is a superior product.

A lot of it depends on if you want to spend a few hundred more to have the adjustability of the Toytec set up. But if you're looking at the less expensive Toytec coil over, those are 5100s with their adjustable conversion- which seems like a lot of cash for just a more adjustable 5100. Either get OME or toytec's boss coil overs.

Stock weight those should both net you about 3"

On a V6, the 885 may give you a little bit more. I am running the 885s with the V8 and a bumper and am about 2.5" estimated (don't have stock measurements)

Thanks for the feedback So you are saying the non adjustable Toytecs @ $900 are overpriced? I don't need adjustability, just looking for a true 3/2, if its a bit more each front/rear then I'm ok. The truck handles ok, no XREAS leaking that I can tell but at 140k, as a daily, I'm thinking its worth the full suspension refresh?

Are the OMEs really that much better than the non adjustable Toytecs? Have heard the 895 rears are too stiff and I'm often unladen.

For my '05 V8, I decided to order the OME 885 front and Toytec Superflex rear, since the OME 895 is on back order.

I plan to take some measurements once I get on level ground. I'm seeing in some cases with over 100k miles, the measurement difference will be 3" rather than the expected 2.5".
