I picked up this 5spd scrapper.

Paid $550, 230k mi. Needed a 5spd cause my synchro is getting crunchy. Was looking around for just a good gear box but I ended up getting a whole rig. Runs and shifts good, has a new clutch. Should be able to get a fair amount of parts off it.
To bad only good for parts cause the former owner didn't do his winter New England salt damage prevention. I have the same yr and mine is rust free.

Oh I saw this one on CL not too long ago! Was kind of disappointed when I read the description, as I like that color. It's different.

I'm in RI and looking for one of these, maybe if I find on and need anything I'll hit you up for parts, haha.

Yeah I like the color combo too. Yeah let me know if your looking for any part in particular. I also know a guy on the cape that chops these.

It's a 2000, verified by the title I got, has digital odometer too, so that rules out pre 99. Last year they made a 5 speed.
Yeah its a nice looking blue.

Horizon Blue Metallic only made in 99-00. It's a shame to cut up such a rare color. Especially a 5 speed. Throw a frame under it!!!!! :biggrin2:

I’m with him, frame it. That’s a great color and I like the flares and bumper. Surely a frame couldn’t be too hard to find.

That... sounds like a project if you have the space and time!

Besides, for $550, even if you drop $1500 on the frame (I think that was the old pricing, YMMV) I'd say you have a solid rig!
 
nice looking color, havent seen any of those around before.

but if you are selling parts, i'm interested!

- front seat belt assemplies (if they retract strong, ill take both the fronts)
- rear hatch struts (mine are shot)
- rear hatch window wiper (blade, and wiper arm bracket)
