I promise I searched: 1'' Lifts

I have been reading for 4+ hours now.

I am wanting 1'' in the front. My options are Daystar Budget Boost 1'', and Cornfed 1''.

Is there a difference in these 2 kits? Difference in installations, or will both involve removing the assembly?

I see the Cornfed will work with XREAS, but based on my reading the Daystar will as well.

From what i've gathered is that the DS will be easier to install since its a top out mount opposed to cornfed which is in the assembly. Plus DS makes the ride stay about the same.

The Daystar budget boost kiut is listed as 1", but that is spacer thickness and not lift height. Actual lift height will be 2". You need a 1/2" thick spacer for 1" lift.

Wheelers Offroad sells a 0.50" Aluminum spacer. Yeilds about 1".

I was reading that as well. I am interested in the fact that it lifts it more....

So is the Daystar 1'' compatible with my factory XREAS?

Yes, the budget boost daystar 1'' will work with XREAS no issues. Quiet a bit have this or the bigger daystar lift the 2.5''. I just put the budget boost 1'' on mine and love it.

JLRSR5, did the 1 inch make your 4runner appear level? I want to level mine out but it seems in a lot of threads i've read that some people claim the 1 inch spacer makes the front end look higher than the rear. I would go with a .5 inch spacer, but when I look at my 4runner it seems like the front sits so low compared to the rear, I don't want to go through all that work and pay for the .5 only to still have a front rake look. Also how hard of a job is this with XREAS? I have pretty minimal tools and experience...Thanks.

I installed the 1'' budget boost which lifts front right under 2''. And also the 1.5'' in the rear so mine still kept the factory rake for the most part. It's a little less of a rake I think than factory but not by much.

And yes some people think if you just do the budget boost in the front, the front looks alil higher in the rear, but I can't provide insight on that since I lifted both front and back.

As far as how hard it is. I had very little experience prior, but I was working with a good buddy who has installed a lot of lifts so we did it pretty quick, but If I was doing it by myself I think I could have managed with a friends help and your basic hand tools and following the directions on this forum. There are a lot of install write ups with great pictures that you can use. Below is the thread that I looked at the most. And with XREAS the biggest thing is just keep a close eye on the lines that you don't kink them or over stretch them, it wasn't to big of a hassel I didn't think.

You can get any size spacer you want through Cornfed. I would do the Daystar up front, then if you want the rear lifted get a Cornfed for the rear in whatever size you need.

Unless you want to do a good amount of cutting, I'd do the 265s. With 2" lift and the square profile of the BFGs, the 275s will likely rub a good bit.
