i talked to wheelers today to clear up some info with the daystar lifts

daystar is still making the old front lift with the top and bottom spacers

they just started making the new front lift with only top spacers

BOTH are still being made! (thankfully)

he said DS for some reason is making the newer lift as an easier option for those who dont/cant want to disassemble the whole spring

i know a few weeks ago it was unclear whether the old front lift was going to be discontinued, and it is NOT.

unfortunatly they just got everything in that was on backorder, so i have to wait ANOTHER week to put my lift and tires on. GRRR

The old style DS kit IS discontinued. That is why wheelers is saying it is on backorder, long delays, etc. DS will specially make the discontinued old style kit for retailers on a one off basis that place a special order for them in bulk, and wheelers is the only place that is willing to do that. Get them while you can as wheelers price is Great.

well from what the guy at wheelers told me, they are still making them, but wheelers will only get them when there is a high demand

he made it sound like they are still making them regardless, BUT wheelers will only order them with multiple orders..

thats just the way he made it sound to me, could be wrong? either way mine was shipped today, so im happy!

PS it wasnt my front lift that was back ordered, it was the rear. they didnt have any left in stock. from what i was told they have plenty of front, but my rear was on back order............ at least that was what i was told.
