today I had a wheel cylinder give out on me, it sputters when idling sometimes, its got 186K on it, need a tune up and the trans fluid changed, something is rattling in the e-brake handle area on the interstate, and my new job is a 45 minute highway commute... fellas I think I have no choice but to say good day to my Frunner, this sucks

I am pretty mechanically inclined, in the Allen house as a young sprout we were what you might call "poor" and if you didn't fix it yourself it wasn't getting fixed so i was forced to figure out a lot about cars early on, so I don't really spazz on things that aren't worth worrying about, the e-brake is something in the actually brake mechanism itself, and i didnt mention that when changing my starter awhile back the rack & pinion lines got boogered up and cross threaded up so now I have to refill my powersteering fluid bout once a month... oh well I am just being a whiny little scrotum

some one stole my stock rims from my garage or I woulda sold these along time ago

and today did it I went to fix the wheel cylinder and it wasn't the wheel cylinder leaking it is the oil seal on the axle, and I went to drain the rear end fluid and there was metal on the drain plug magnet,

the trade in value is more than I owe on it so it looks like i am gonna have to let go of my baby

get yourself an old 92 toyota pickup with a bunch of miles on it, you'll get god mpg and still have your 4runner. I heard someone else did that on here too... its a good daily driver.

The metal is normal as long as it isn't big flakes.
