nice video setup! makes me wish i had the money. where'd you get the headrests from? what brand are they and how much did they cost? vizualogic sells a pair with wireless headphones for about 1400. you have any subs hooked up?

T4Runner,

Looks really good. Glad you jumped in and sent the pictures. Too bad you didn't give a brief descripton of some of the pictures, I can't recognize what the picture of the display that is upside down and has the outline of a car is. Maybe you can elaborate. I like your backseat DVD entertainment system with the monitors in the headrests, neat installation.

I also have the E7001 Nav (Solara). No pictures yet but have just about given upp on integrating the voice nav function into the exisiting Channel speaker thrugh the Amp. webshot seems to have tried everything before me. I, like so many before me have deided to go with a small amplified speaker under the dash. I am using a Motorola mobile handsfree speaker mic unit that I have modified for this purpose. This will do while I try to figure out something else.

I sure like the click together center console/trim. Anybody know how many times I can rip the dash apart before things start to fall off or don't stay in place any more (lol)?

I still have to tacke the LED swap out, Funny I am colour blind so it doesn't bother me to have the green LEDS but I have to think of the passengers.... My wife didn't seems to notice the colour difference until I mentioned it. It is not a bad mismatch.

After reading webshots description, I am having second thoughts about digging into the display unit and will only do it if I really think it is necessary.

All the best and welcome aboard.

OK I'm done

First let me say the 4runner is awsome.
Yea, I wanted he V8 but am very pleased with the smooth ride and it seems to have adaquate power for my needs.

Drove every SUV and truck out there and the 4runner outshined all the others and I was able to get it for a good price.

1st mod:
HomeLink even before the car arrived. Dealer said it couldn't be added I said watch me...
2nd mod:
Vent shades and Bug Guard--Bug guard was iffy but I think I like it.
3rd
Headrest Monitors / DVD--Very very cool and sound awsome with the suround features of the JBL 10---Kids love it and so do I.
4th
Solara Navigation---Dealer said If they COULD do it would be around $3500.00--Once again this board led me to www.oemvalue.com 1575.00 and worth every penny. This Navigation works great with all the features of the overpriced aftermarket stuff with the benifit of integration with all the existing controls plus XM can be added--$488.00 best so far.
5th
Street-Glow Neon (puple)
I know it's a little BLING BLING but I kinda like it.

My next thing is lighting the running boards but I can't seem to find the lights I want..soon though

BE 'ROUND POST'N

Yea, The voice was a pain. I used the Radio Shack solution. Kept waiting for another solution--Still hoping
I like the green LEDs
The Picture you were asking about is the RS Alarm display

Your truck looks great. The one thing that stood out to me are those neons. They look so hot. The blue gives a great effect with the white body. Also, I think the NAV is cool. How long did it take you to install it?

Vizualogic LCD Screens

Overall, very nice work. How do you like the Vizualogic screens? I'm thinking about getting some for my 04 Limited V8, but I want to make sure the color of the leather matches. How close to the original is yours?

Br1ck, Thanks...I was alittle worried about the match myself since my truck is an 04 Sport which does't come with factory leather. The leather is actually installed at the port.
It's called stone just like the leather in the limited and I ordered 03Toyota stone leather Vizualogic headrest and they match perfect. They match all factory leather but the 04s weren't listed yet. As far as I could find out there were no changes in leather color from the 03 and 04s.

If you still aren't sure go to a retailer to buy the headrest and you can usually pay a small deposit (I paid $300) and if they don't match you get your money back.

If you want video in your vehicle these monitors are the way to go. The headphones work great and will also work with the rear audio.
It sound great with the JBL10 to !!

Just took a trip to the coast. My Mother-in-Law and my daughter watched (3) movies in a row...tell me they aren't worth the money!!

That's 5 hours I could actually carry on a conversation with my wife..

Hey these thing could actually deepen your relationship..

WOW!!

Awesome! I have the stone leather and now I'm pretty sure the Vizualogics are what I'm going to buy.

Now for some questions about pushing video to them. I've got the Kenwood 7015 which will serve as my DVD player for the rear headrest monitors. Since I can't seem to find a close up picture of the control box for the Vizualogics I have no idea how I'd get the video to the monitors. I assume there are standard video/audio in RCA plugs on the control unit, which then connects to the screens...is this correct? Do you have photos of the control box?

This is the last issue I need to resolve before ordering the headrests. Thanks again!
