Given that most AO's aren't marking them up by 25%, the MSRP is now the "sale price." I'd give them a lowball offer, people on here have claimed to have gotten steals on TRD Pros.
The last one I saw around here in Dublin was going for 57k, tho.

If budget is a concern, a TRD Off Road would be the way to go. You're paying a $7k (iirc) premium for a Pro over an Off Road, whereas an Off Road with $7k worth of aftermarket goodies would be much better than a Pro.
If you're dead set on a Pro, most dealerships won't work with you if you're not in the building. If you're going to be lazy and just send out an email blast asking for the best deal, what makes you think the dealership isn't going to be lazy and quote you MSRP?

If you are getting it for MSRP I'd take it and be happy. If it's over MSRP you can knock them down. I was able to go from 55K to 49 OTD. Here in CA that's a steal. Pretty much paid about 1K over the actual MSRP. Not sure if they were too stupid to realize what I did or not.
Of course some would say I'm stupid for paying 1K over MSRP, but I got what I wanted, color I wanted, and at a price I was willing to spend. In the end though I'd go with an Off-Road after all the work I've done to it.

Dude, come down to Houston. Pricing here has been very good across the line. Surely you can do a couple hour trip for better pricing?

Take a deep breath and be patient (but hopefully not a COVID-19 one).
When the unemployment rate is 25% in a few weeks, they'll return your emails with a better price.

If you have the patience then I would wait. Keep sending out those inquiry emails until you get that offer too good to pass up. Might take a month or two or more. These dealerships are rolling the dice on the TRD PROs and other new vehicles hoping to find that desperate buyer who is willing to pay up to have it now. I truly believe these auto manufacturers are going to be in a world of hurt as more people who lose their jobs which means more people selling used cars to get rid of payments and buying older cheaper cars.

I doubt they are ever going to drop below MSRP on a pro. They can, and will be able to sell it. There are a lot of people who are still financially secure. Someone who worries about their budget enough to try and get a bit off MSRP aren’t the target for an SUV marked up $8k because of a badge and $2k shocks.
My local dealerships have been moving vehicles like crazy. Everyone around who’s financially secure is using this to get good deals and rates on vehicles.

I'm in New Braunfels, and I had similar experience with central Texas Toyota dealers in spring of 2018. I emailed, phoned, did internet searches, and created a spreadsheet to compare dealers, location, prices, and kept notes of sales conversations. Some sales people were straight shooters, some others lie.
Very interesting details can be learned when comparing salesman talk and dealer offerings. For example, one salesman told me only four 4Runners were sold in the Gulf States region had the KDSS option. Another day, another salesman told me only 5 had been sold with the KDSS suspension option.
Toyota has about 11 regions across US and each tailors their options for that market, which means what you want ...may not be readily available near you.
Another salesman in Altus, Oklahoma was completely transparent. We sat in his office and he showed me HIS cost and explained the current costing and his profit for several Toyota models. Unfortunately, he did not have what I wanted, but I'd be happy to return there to buy from that salesman.
Eventually, I bought a new 2018 TRD Off Road with KDSS ... in Denver. Saved more than $4000 ... lower than MSRP. In retrospect, I think I could have gotten an even better deal. But by that time ... I was tired of searching for the 'best' deal and I'd found my 4Runner at a decent price.
Be patient ... you can get what you want ...if you do your homework.
