Thats why you air down on sand and keep moving. A 4Runner could get stuck in the same situation if he came up to the incline with no momentum and fully aired up tires.

I agree and he was a fool for letting it keep digging in deeper. Sand takes some skill to drive on and this guy is a rookie.

ive gotten stuck on somethin stupid like that before... i was runnin bald A$$ a/ts on a very dry dirt hill that was basically a 4wheeler path. tried to back up and go up the hill.... no go

I think an off-roaders worst fear is that or wet grass. However there was a moment you can see he had rearward movement. He could have backed off that berm. May be he was wanting to try out his shovel.
