Iceman's 86 turbo

Hey guys ! just picked up 86 turbo with a manual trans . I know the trans has been swapped but I've been rewiring and trying to get everything in order.
My question is " does the ECT need to be plugged in ? and the can the cruise work without the ECT. Thanks for your help

The ect is for the auto tranny, it won't be of any use to you now.

You will need to jumper (short) your neutral start safety switch at the connector so the truck will start though.
