the all-new Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV)
powered by ICON Intelligent Control (IIC).

The combination of IIC and CDEV allow for automatic,
instantaneous adjustments to the shocks’ damping to
provide the absolute best setting for any given situation.

ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2.5” coilovers w/ CDCV are an
incredible upgrade for the front end of the 5th Gen 4runner.

ICON’s Vehicle-specific valving provides a sport tuned feel
on and off-road while offering 0-3.5” of lift height
adjustability for use of larger, more aggressive wheel and
tire combinations.

ICON's larger 2.5” shock body and increased piston area
over stock components provides improved damping ability
and outstanding ride characteristics across varying types of
terrain.

Remote reservoirs ensure optimum performance by
increasing the duration of consistent damping regardless of
situation, keeping the shocks at a cooler operating
temperature during heavy use.

The ICON CDE Valve upgrade is included for those desiring
an easy way to tune the ride electronically from inside the vehicle.

Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) is an
electronically controlled valve that meters the flow of oil to
regulate the amount of damping force that is created by the
shock when compressed.

And are they currently looking into this being a possible replacement to the AHC on the LX470?

Several of us had a chance to speak with ICON about applications.

As of right now, the CDEV Series will be limited to 4Runner (5th Gen) and Tacoma (3rd Gen). Not sure on eta for 4th Gen.

There are no plans for the GX470 or GX460.

Do you have to run a complete system(all 4x shocks)?

Could someone wanting to transition be able to get the fronts and controller? Would there be any issue with tatt shocks not connected to the system?
