Style is one thing, a person can only judge for themselves. I always thought the idea of a style expert was laughable. Make up your own mind, don't tell me what to like.These rims are not to my taste, but don't take my word for it, look for yourself. What I dont see is a distinguishing characteristic from a hundred other rims - it's going to be a tough go unless you are doing something different, something to get noticed for the right reasons.
My real question is the weight. At 30 lbs they are 5lbs more than best in class, and at least 3lbs heavier than some at a $200 price point.
So if the idea behind these was to cash in on a brand name that's fine. If the idea was to offer something new or better then please tell me how.

I really like the look of the Alpha wheel, so I called Icon and Tom ( I think that was his name) in sales said that the 17" Alpha in 6x5.5 weighs 27lbs and is hub centric at 106.1mm.

Not me, my dog needed an emergency splenectomy, so It will be a while before I upgrade wheels and tires. Have you seen the six speed model, they look good as well.
