Icon coilover question and thoughts

As for the "baby head" rocks... I go slow on stuff like that at 10-14psi typically. It's a bit rough, but in all the trucks I've been in, I've yet to find one that's making those things not be rough. I think you'd need some big ol' tires with monster sidewalls to smooth those things out.

I will be in the market for some Icon tubular upper control arms soon. I will make sure contact him when the time comes to buy.

What's the opinion on the icon cdcv coilovers and shocks? Are they worth the extra $300? I plan on, moreso because I have to because of the extra weight replacing my current co setup. I was thinking the Icon CDCV setup with a 700# spring. I'm almost to full armor and still plan on adding a winch, and drawer setup for the back. So almost an extra maybe 200 pounds. I do daily my rig because I like driving it more than my not yet built 5th gen. I wheel and camp, and scout and hunt using this rig as my primary. Is the CDCV worth it, or just buy the remote resi with a 700 pound spring and have Icon valve them for the weight of my rig?

Yes, especially if you have a lot of different loads. Empty and on the road needs a different setting than loaded on the trail. If you can swing it, it is a worthwhile and noticeable upgrade.
