no I dont but when you mention ICON ... I disagreed because ICON's with CDCC can be tuned soft.

With or without adjustment... they can be very smooth. Mine have no adjustments... It mostly depends on your spring rate and how well it all matches up together. People get very confused about dampening... It has a role, but there are many factors at play. The ICONs are pretty much ideal for mixed use driving IMHO. I would never describe them as stiff or harsh. Now, combine them with KDSS or Overland springs... things might be totally different. In my setup, they are very compliant, but don't feel mushy on the road.... The CDC is a nice option to have, but not really necessary to get a balanced mixed use setup. The challenge on all these trucks is getting a suspension that rides perfect both loaded and unloaded. It's simply not possible. You have to compromise for the weight you typically run at and give up a little something when fully loaded... or unloaded if that is your preference.

Give king a call! Their OEM kit comes with very soft springs (550lb I believe). You can also discuss spring options with them.
I have the compression adjust in the rear, and you can adjust it to be stiff, or comfortably soft for the highway. I have mine on setting 4 of 20. Loaded up with gear in the woods, stiffer feels better to me.

regardless-- I'd explore spring options if you're looking for a very soft ride. I would definitely describe king as soft, but you can make it rigid with heavier springs. With no preload, their OEM series will level everything out.

They're great to talk to, I was amazed by their customer service.

A guy I know has Kings on his long travel setup and that shit is plushhhhhhh. He also removed the sway bars so it rocks like a damn boat, but....hey was that the center median we just went over? I don't know, I couldn't feel anything...lol

Places like accutune can make them as soft as you like. If you want the softest ride and still perform okay in big bumps, then a bypass is what you really want. There's a few options out now. None are cheap.

You can certainly find a softer spring like a 500 or 550lb rate up front to help soften the ride too. They'll just need to be longer to compensate.

If you go too soft controlling body roll becomes a problem.

I have enjoyed the banter on this thread and shows to me that everyone’s prefers something a little different.

I’m on my 3rd 4Runner and the current 18 TRD ORP with KDSS is by far the smoothest and best ride in a runner that I have experienced . No, it’s not a smooth large luxury car but to me a great ride for this incredible truck. But, my maximum trips are 2 ½ hour rides which is a lot shorter than the OP. That might make a difference.

I personally would like a lift but don’t “Need” it nor do I want to “mess” with the quality of ride I experience.

I appreciate that. Let me know who you’ve talked to. I’ve emailed multiple times. Each time they answered one question. Each time I had to reply and say what about the other question. When I called, it could have been lunch time or the game was on. He definitely didn’t have time to talk. Just saying, their customer service is ok at best. Their shocks are. 100 times better than their service.
