Question, I have put about 500 miles on the new icon stage 2 lift with the tubular UCAs. As of this afternoon, I am feeling a knocking from the drivers side ball joint. These have no grease fittings to lube them, so how do you stop any friction that it's causing? Would penetrating oil hurt the ball joint? All input welcome, I just want to stop this annoying knocking/noise.

Also do a search on youtube for your symptoms. There is a video that diagnoses the same sound. It was not his ubj but something on the coilover.

Same thing happened to me on my icon lift. For me it was a 'loose' lower control arm bolt. My sound was irregular though

We've gotten that knock when the very long bolt on the upper control arm has become slightly loose.
Also take a look at your sway bar and make sure it's not making contact.

For the Tri flow, which one, the Grease or just the lubricant? Have you used this before?

you can use the Tri-Flow spray. i do doubt your noise is coming from the uniball, however.
i'd check everything out again carefully. definitely check the long UCA through-bolt again.

I searched and did not find this. Is it specific to the Gen 5 with an ICON lift?

I'm pretty sure mine is making contact. I have a metal sounding clank when I turn. Been there since 46k.... I'm at 72k now. I determined it was not detrimental.
So here's the update. All UCA and cam bolts are wrenched down tight and the pop noise seems to be the ball joint. I got Icon to send me new ball joints (which was awesome) and replaced the drivers side. and all was well. After a long trip and a week driving on sand and the beach the pop noise returned right before a long 10 hour trip. I am now thinking I am going to replace the ICON tubular's with something else and hopefully take care of this once and for all. What do you feel is the best UCA out there? I am hopping to get one with a ball joint that has a grease fitting. Thoughts on Camburg or other makers?

Go with the Camburg's. Although my Camburg UCA rubber boots are shot within a years time, the balljoints are still tight. These UCA's seen 2 winters with heavy salted roads. Rock crawled and Off-roaded/Overlanded a bunch. The tear in the rubber boots is probably my fault as I greased them often. Camburg is replacing for free. There is no one best UCA. All you can do is try different brands and see which ones last the longest.
For your new replacement Icon to pop so quick, something else may be wrong on that side of the truck for you to be damaging that sides UCA so quickly. Uniball supposed to be tougher, but now I see everyone with uniballs going back to balljoints.

Elpaca, I had a similar issue with my Icons. Mine were fine in the morning, and as it got hotter in the day, it got worse. I called Icon and discussed it with them. There is an initial break in period. If they are still creaking and groaning after that, it may just be an issue with the manufacturing of the bearing. When I talked to the tech guys, they asked me if I was the guy that had spoken to by email. I was not, so they may be aware of the issue. Icon had a set of replacement bearings drop-shipped from their manufacturer FK Rod Ends. It would be worth calling Icon and discussing it with them. That noise was absolutely infuriating.

Superlube sucks for poly bushings. Buy some prothane grease and they will stay quiet for a long time. It's stupid expensive and a PITA because it is super sticky, but it works and well worth the money. I used to have to grease every few thousand miles, now I do like every 25-30k miles.

everyone knows poly is loud and sucks. but they still use it. my DK ones are also annoying. Delrin would be amazing. absorbs more NVH than spherical bearings, but tighter and quieter than poly.
