There are a few of us running these springs. So far they feel alright. If you don't have any weight in the back, you're truck will sit high in the rear making it look like the factory rake. If you plan or have storage drawers with the possibility of a rear bumper or more added weight, it will bring it back to a leveled look. I'm happy with these new springs.

I've been running them the past month or so. Rear bumper with spare tire mount and jerry cans plus ARB fridge, tools, recovery gear, etc. in the back. All the weight went on before the springs and they still lifted the rear about an inch or so. Went from being more or less level to having a rake again - I'd rather have rake than be level so in my eyes it's a good thing. I find the ride very close to what it was before I added the rear bumper and springs.

So far so good from me. I don't run my swing out full time around town. When I do run it with the swing out,there is a significant difference than without it. With gear and swing out in/on the truck it feels and rides a lot better like it should be.Without swing out and no gear, it rides a bit more harsh and seems to jump off big bumps on the road rather that absorbing it. I don't mind it due to this isn't my D.D.

Thanks, this was helpful. Are the brake hoses/abs lines in back ok with these or do you need extensions?

The springs are longer but do not affect overall suspension travel, so no.

Thus my hesitation. I may go with the std Springs and airbags just because I ride empty so much and don't know when I'll have the cash for a rear bumper. That and I picked up some lightly used 2" Icons for cheap.

Since adding my rear CBI with swing out and can carrier, I've been looking into new springs. The radflo springs (eibach) seem to handle the weight okay but I don't think they are really up to the task once I get my skid plates and other items along with travel gear.
I've been looking at ordering some custom springs, but did take a look at these. I'm probably going to have to add some airbags too for trailering but would be interested to know more about these as opposed to custom coils. Not looking for 3" of lift but rather to maintain 2" lift with the added weight of my rear CBI, shrockworks skids and front bumper, etc.

I've got another question on this one. I currently do not plan on running a rear bumper/carrier. I'd love to, but at this point I'd like to avoid having one on my daily driver (for convenience sake). As far as full-time added weight, we're looking at some skid plates, roof rack, rtt, recovery gear and cooler, plus a winch bumper in front. How do you all think these springs will handle on a daily basis? I'll load it up for a trip maybe every other month, adding several hundred pounds, but for around town how do you think it'll be? For what it's worth I'm also considering all-pro's 3.5" rear coils, at 15% spring rate they should be relatively nice unloaded, but not sure how well kdss is going to play with that kind of lift height.
Long story short, how should these springs run on a relatively unloaded rig? I wonder if icon could get me some spring rate# estimates.

Thanks, that was my concern from what I've read about them. I'm really quite happy with my current Radflo springs, I just want another inch in height. Maybe a custom job is in order.

Like shit.
Unless you are running a steel bumper and swing out, plus all of the extras you mentioned. The regular Icon lift coils will have no trouble with .5 ton of extra weight

I don't mind a little rear-high rake but yea, that's pretty tall in back. My biggest concern is having the springs be too stiff and you and joneseyyy both confirmed that concern.
Ideally I'd keep my current spring rate, just have more lift such that it rides a little higher in back unloaded and levels out (approx) when loaded. I know everyone's definition of this varies but so far I haven't see anything that fits mine.. In terms of daily load and the kind of gear I take on trips. Either way looks like the icons probably aren't the best fit for me, but big thanks for helping me figure it out, really appreciate it!
