Icon shock guards with fox?

aanyone know if they’ll work with the rear 2.0 fox shocks?

Fox makes there own shaft protector for the 2.0s. The ICON shin guards should fit too.

I ran the Icon shin guards with my 2.5s but got pelted with rocks in Death Valley and ended up bending back causing my shocks to bottom on them. So they came off.

You could just as easily boot them and leave the slit/open at the back to let moisture/water/muck out, if your intent is to just keep the shafts ping free.

Same issue as Mikey's2010SR5, and in Death Valley no less. The Icon "shock shaft protection" isn't gusseted and so it's ~easily bent back into the shock as the front tires kick rocks back. Then the shock body get's punctured when the shock body comes down onto the top of the deformed skid. Still had shock shaft damage from getting blasted by rocks. So it didn't protect the shock shaft and actually punctured the shock body. A $500 shock rebuild later I cut off the shaft skid plate portion off the Icon skid, so that it can't be pushed back into the shock again, and I have protective rubber shaft boots on.

I just swapped out the Icon rear shin guards for Rago rear shock skids. They're way beefier:
- Rago: 0.187" gusseted and welded
- Icon: 0.109" bent SST sheet metal
