Just installed bils 5100's set on 2nd and FJ coils. Was told from one shop that my inner tie rods are frozen and I needed new ones. I'm taking to another shop just to see what they have to say about it. What the ideal numbers to look for? It's a 03 2wheel drive. Any input would be appreciated. Will follow up and post numbers

Are they trying to say the ball socket is frozen? Makes sense, they wouldn't be able to spin the inner tie Rod to adjust the toe if the ball socket is frozen.

Not the ball joint, the inner tie rod gave him all the trouble. Brought it to another shop which the guy or some heat on it and he was able to adjust it. He said the inner tie rods are fine. But the specs above were the best he could get. I'm clueless but learning what the numbers even are, so I just said thanks and trusted he did the best he could.

My sister was the initial and only owner who lived on the beach in Malibu where a lot of salt started rust spots. He checked them and said they will be fine for a while, which is perfect and all I need until I save up more money. So this will definitely be my next project. Thanks
