Identifying 3vze Headers

Hey everyone!
First thread, new to forums in general.
Anyway, I bought a set of 3vze headers for 100 bucks, used. I don't see any markings on them, and the guy I got them from wasn't sure what brand they were. Is there a way to tell by shape or anything? Thanks for any help.

Looks like they are ceramic coated or something. Should I try to blast some more? Re-paint with ceramic header paint? Install as is?

Also, wondering if I should install myself or just have the exhaust shop make them work. They are going on a 95 3vze 4x4 auto. Stock height.

Look like Doug Thorley headers. I bought some new(95 auto 4X4 also), and they came with a Y pipe section that tied into the stock exhaust. The passenger side runs very close to the floor pan. I ran a 1" body lift to minimize heat transfer. I also put some heat blocking material under the footwell carpeting for added insurance. I would get a muffler shop to fab up the missing pieces and use the band clamp type of muffler clamps to put it together. Regular U bolt type clamps will pinch the pipe, making it impossible to remove if you need to. Also coat where the pipes slide together with never seize compound so they'll come apart if you do need to.

[MENTION=102771]airdreams1[/MENTION] i didn't really have the money but I figured it might keep me from a premature rebuild. And I was shocked to see them for that price. I hadn't seen any for less that 350!

I'd be willing to do $350 for a decent set that isn't all beat to hell/ rusted out.
