Idle surges when brake pedal is pressed

I just got the old girl back on the road, and I'm having an issue with my engine RPMs surging when my brake pedal is pressed. It'll drop from the regular idle of about 1300 RPM (my idle is set a bit high right now), drop to about 600, then repeat, it drops down about every second.

It seems to only happen when the engine is warm, so I'm assuming it involves a vacuum hose, and a sensor, but I'm not sure which. I had removed all my hoses to service my fuel injection, so I may have put them on wrong.

Any ideas?

This is old, you need to SEARCH.

The problem is because the idle is too high.

Hmmmm

I did fix the problem by swapping two vacuum hoses that go to one of the sensors on the top of the engine that I believe were backwards... but I'll do some searching... what should I be searching for?
