Idle's too high

Hey everyone i have a 94' 4runner V6 3.0L. Fuel Injected. It's idling around 1500-2000 Rpm. I had to retard the motor just to bring it down. I'm told you cant adjust the idle on these motors. Is this true and if not how do i adjust it? Thanks in advance!

Check inside the throttle body for buildup that's causing it to not close the butterfly all the way. You can usually check by forcing it closed and see if the idle drops.

so i cleaned it out and its still idleing too high. Is their something else i need to clean or change to fix the idle?
