If I bought these vw seats, would they fit in my runner?

So I'm just wondering before I go meet this guy tomorrow. But it's such a great deal it would be hard to turn down. Basically there are 2 leather seats from a 90's gti available. They look like this

if I was to get the sliders and weld them in. Would these work in my 93? Has anyone else tried anything like this? From first impressions. I think it will fit. But I am far from a professional

If you have your factory brackets, you should be able to combine the two sets to bolt into the factory holes

Sounds dynamite. This guy is practically giving them away. So I am defined going to try. Any other advice on combining two bracket sets? There wouldn't be any guides?

I would take the tracks off the Toy seats and bolt them to the floor then see how the VW seats would sit on them. You will end up using one of the sets of rails. Either the top 2/3 of the VW set attached to the bottom 1/3 of the Toy set or the top 1/3 of the VW set on the bottom 2/3 of the Toy set. Make sense?
