If I disconnect the battery...

I'm going to install a new amp in my 04 4Runner and I need to disconnect the battery, if I do this will the VSC Off light come on again and need to be reset by the dealer?

Mine never has. You lose the programming in the radio, and the driver's window, sunroof, and rear window need to be reinitialized.

I disconnected my battery about 6 times within the past 2 weeks while working on stuff and never had the VSC OFF light come on. Have you had a problem with the light coming on after you disconnect your battery?

How do you reinitialize the window, sunroof and rear window?

I just had my car inspected and Toyota said the the reason the VSC Off light was on was due to the disconnection of my battery? I just bought the car...
