When my boyfriend and I were installing my lift, the steering stabilizers broke off because they were so damn rusty.

Its been a few weeks since this has been done and I've obviously been driving it around. It rattles and doesn't handle the same, but I just want to make sure its OK to keep driving it without the stabilizers.

I can't seem to find them for any cheaper than $170 EACH which I think is outrageous for just a small part.

if your talking about the sway bar end links it isnt really a huge deal but i would get them replaced at some point. do you happen to have a picture so were talkin bout the same thing.

Pictures would be nice. I cant think of anything else that would snap off other than the sway bar end links. but mine is 4wd so it could be different if yours is 2wd.

those are obviously not stock, but is that what you are talking about? Those would be the sway bar end links, . basically it helps keep the body level to the suspension. a lot of the more hardcore offroaders will run w/out them for more articulation.

Are we talking front sway bar links. Ya I broke one and replaced both of them. Found these on Ebay:

Yea that is what I'm talking about. I can't believe they are on Ebay for that cheap..never even thought to look on there because I got discouraged on the prices from the auto places.

Definitely endlinks and not stabilizers, lol. I went through autozone and got the Moogs for around $35/ea with lifetime warranty. If you dont want to spend a whole lot they seem to be stronger than stock and IF you ever break one they will replace it free
