If you ever updated Entune Premium Audio Head Unit software or Maps microSD card

Gentlemen,

I am desperately in need of and searching for an older version of Entune software update applicable for 2016-2018 Entune Premium Audio Head Units.

This update was introduced in the original Toyota Technical Service Bulletin (T-SB-0103-16 attached) and was superseded later.
Yes, I am aware that it is an old update and there are several newer updates, but I specifically need that older one and would really appreciate if someone who still has that .KWI file stored on his hard drive, shares it with me.

That update was available at Toyota Downloads, but not anymore.

The update (the file) that I am looking for is: 13TDANNA-DA11_0130.kwi
This file is about 170MB and it should not take more than 10 minutes to upload the file to any available file share.

There is also a pretty good possibility that this file exists on your Toyota Maps microSD card.
Depending on the version of your Toyota Maps, this file may (or may not) be found on your microSD card in the ..\PANA directory.


I have posted a similar message to many other Toyota forums, but didn't hear back yet from anyone. Hopefully this forum is the last stop and I will find what I am looking for to fix the annoying problem that I have.

I purchased a new map update for my 2018 4Rnr. I get the new SD card tomorrow so once I have it I will check the old card part number and send it to you if you want.

No need to send me a card, but just a 13TDANNA-DA11_0130.kwi file (if you have it on your old card in \PANA directory).
The hope that you will find it there is low. I am 99.9% sure the file that I am looking for will not be located on your card, as your veichle is from 2018 and this file was circulating around 2016.
But just in case, please verify it.

I have got a 2016 with that radio. Just updated the Entune last week.

Think this info is on my SD card??

Will it hurt to remove SD if I don't turn vehicle on???

Hi Mark,

If your vehicle is turned off, then there is absolutely no risk to remove this microSD card.

The only way to say for sure if your card has the file that I am looking for, is to read this card with your computer and visually check the file presence in ..\PANA directory.

If you can find 5 minutes, may I ask you to read that microSD card using your PC and to list all files located in ..\PANA folder?
There should be no more than 5 to 7 files. It will not take a lot of time.

NOTE: I would advice against reading that microSD card with your cell phone or tablet, as most of the current mobile devices will create additional directories (specific to the OS that you are running on your mobile) as soon as you insert the card in the phone or tablet. You do not want this.
That is why using your PC is the safe way to read that microSD card. Just be sure you do not modify anything on this microSD card. Basically you can copy information from this card with no problem, but just do not add to or edit anything on tihs microSD card.

I have a 2015 Trail Pro and have updated my Entune once or twice over the years. I just checked my computer and my microSD card for versions. I realize they're not an exact version match to your request, but you're welcome to all of 'em.

3 versions on my MicroSD card (all 3 have a modified date of Dec 10th, 2014):
13TDANNA-DA00_0209.kwi
13TDANNA-DA01_0078.kwi
13TDANNA-DA02_0078.kwi

1 version squirreled away on my computer's hard drive. Modified date of May 6, 2018 (which might have just been the day I downloaded it and saved it to my local disk):
13TDANNA-DA00_0215.kwi
