If you got the Husky floor mats,

I got the Husky floor mats in tan. I'm not 100% thrilled with the fit, but I guess it will do, and I'm glad I was able to get the tan mats to coordinate with the tan interior.

Did you remove the hooks from carpeted floor? Or do you recommend cutting the driver side mat to accommodate the hooks? Or did you simply place the mat over the hooks?

It doesn't seem the mats will move around, not only because of the nubs, but also because of the form fitting.

I removed my hooks. It seemed better than compromising the integrity of the liner.

I just put my hooks back in last weekend when I changed back to the carpeted mats for the summer. No problem removing and replacing them.

i took out the clips; unnecessary with the liners.

The Husky mats have molded area where the floor has raised areas. For example, on the driver side, there is an area where the left foot can be rested. In the rear seat, the mat goes all the way across. It's on the hump that the fit isn't good. The molded areas are a little too big, i.e., they don't lie right up against the floor area they cover.

I can't say if others have found this to be so. Overall, I'd rather have the mats than not. They aren't horrible, but it isn't a perfect fit. I am pleased with the tan color.

I got the black ones for my Limited and they fit OK, but not great. However, my next project is to take a heat gun to them and make them fit perfectly! Or turn them into a bubbly mess...
