To me it is based on the question, "What is the most important job of the President of the United States?" And my answer is to be the representative and face of this country. It is arguable whether we are the "greatest" country in the world depending on what measuring stick you may choose, be it education, gdp, employment rate, citizen happiness level, etc etc; but we are currently the country most of the other world looks to. So, I ask myself if Trump is someone who I would want to represent us. My answer is simply no. Overlooking all of the misogynistic and bigoted rhetoric that he speaks or the hyperbole in which he speaks it, I see someone who just can't take criticism nor someone who would be diplomatic or moderate. Many would say that's exactly what this country needs. I disagree.
Just my two cents.
Remember early on when Trump was considered a joke, no one thought he could win and he was being compared to cancer?
Sure didn't take long for the rest of the 'team' to get behind cancer.
I rather have prostate cancer when I am 80 years old than being burned alive slowly while having my toenails pulled by a misogynistic podiatrist (aka equivalent to seeing Clinton being elected).
But, you being Canadian...i would expect that you want America to fail badly...because that is the only way that your own country get any respect...hmmm, maybe that is why you like Clinton so much?![]()

PS- I'm always amazed that this forum, dedicated to a mid-sized Japanese SUV, leans so far to the right. Even the forums for the big American pickups aren't as right leaning as this place seems to be.
The last time America 'failed badly' was under Bush. It was great for us. Our money was worth more than yours for a while there for the first time in my life, but I still wasn't a Bush supporter.
What is it about Hilary that is comparable to having your toenails pulled by a misogynistic podiatrist?

Let's see...this forum members like a great sensible capable SUV...and leans to the conservative side. You compare it to big 3 vehicle buyers and wonder why there is a difference? Seriously?! Not everyone has common sense, right? Maybe you should buy a Chevy Tracker and bring it back to your country?
the blame game
Yea, but you also bought a Prius. Perhaps not your average right winger?
I have yet to find a liberal who is willing to accept responsibility for his/her actions.
You managed to demonstrate both incessant complaining and wee bit of 'intolerance' in this one sentence.
