If you have Icon front coilovers please help

4th or 5th gen Can you please measure how wide the coil is. Like if you had to put the coil in a box. Icon calls them 2 1/2" but my factory are like 4 1/2" now.
If you go up to your wheel wheel and just hold a tape measure across and try to judge how wide they are in the coil bucket. I figure they must be bigger around or longer because you have to move the sway bar forward.

OP, umm are you confused? The coil spring yes is about 4.5".. A coilover spring is going to be about 2.5" in diameter, that is correct...

I'm not confused at all , but I think you are. Thanks to helpful member toyo we know A 2 1/2" coil over is just under 4 1/2" around or wide. Coil wire diameter is another mater. The 2 1/2 " is the shock body not counting the coil. I called icon twice for this info and they could not help me.

Yes, when dealing with "race car" type coils, the diameter is measured by the inside diameter -

2 1/2" springs could be 3 1/2" or even 4 or more depending on the thickness of the wire they are made from.
