Hey, new to this forum and to 4 runners. Just picked up a 95 (103k) knowing it had a possible rod knock, and 3.0 are a expensive engine, so my goal is to replace the rod bearings myself and i have a few questions. Do i have to remove the front diff and all the IfS to drop the pan or is there a easy way? Are after market bearings OK or should i go factory? Is there anything else i should be aware of when doing this project. I plan to spent some time searching posts today for any info. thanks for any input.
