My95 3.0vze has been running pretty good but I had found some vacuum leaks. I fixed those up and decided to check the timing. At first I couldnt even see the mark. So I adjusted the distributor until I could. I short circuited the code box (whatever) and moved it until it was 10 btdc. Now it seems to run with a lot less power. I think it even misses some too. Just wondering if anyone had any idea why. Im going to play with it some more tomorrow to see if theres a comfort zone. The engine has been rebuilt but I dont know anything about it otherwise. Other than leaking oil from everywhere it seems to be ok. ( my standards are low) Its a workhorse and a daily driver.
Ignition timing weird.
