im dealing with a fleet manager at walnut creek toyota and he says he will give any 4runner of my choice at invoice the one i want goes as follows:
04 sport
4x4
v8
sunroof
spoiler
115v power outlet
drl
electrochromatic rearview mirror

for about $30,500 and 33,500 out the door which includes 8.25 tax and reg and license and oh yeah 6 for gas fee

is this a good deal?
i also wonder when i hear alot of people here talk about getting a rebate back a few months ago, should i hold out for a rebate or do u think i should try to get the price down lower? i also check edmunds on the invoice price and its about a $100 bucks or so cheeper but im quite sure he will do it for the actual invoice price when i want to get it and have a particular stock number to work with...
he also told me he will give me invoice on any accessories i want...

Thats a good deal, I got the same rig. but 2wd

that's a good deal...paid 30,900 with your options excluding your mirror and 115v, but had floor mats and free full tank of gas (this showed up on the window sticker), my dealer charged 125 for plates and 100 doc fee on top of..."final price". I thought it was b.s. but I was okay with it.

What is MSRP and what is the discount off MSRP? Forget taxes that varies to much from location to location.

I got $3400 off MSRP plus what I wanted for my trade. I was happy. Edmunds said I should get $3000 off so I figured I beat Edmunds. A lot of the price depends on the dealer and how many units they have on the lot and how long they have been sitting there.

well he doesnt have the truck i want on the lot, when im ready to get it he will locate it and have it shipped to his location then i will come down and pick it up...

A good rule of thumb is for sticker out the window. Meaning after tax, license, etc it is sticker out the door. Sometimes the dealer will do a little more or there is a manufactors rebate but all and all sticker out the door is a good deal.

If it's invoice AND you get to keep your $750 rebate, then it's an OK deal.

Also, since they will be swapping trucks with another lot, make sure you see it and drive it BEFORE you make a deposit. Otherwise just figure out where the truck you want is actually at, and deal with that dealer directly.

i have done alot of research and as far as i know there is not a $750 rebate because it was back in feb or something... and i also thought about the latter statement, but it is alot easier said than done and another factor is: the dealer im dealing with now is the only one that will give it to me for invoice.
one last thing, this dealer im with now is making it a enjoyable experience, that is a important thing i will not forget because so many people just worry about getting the very best deal and end up just making it a very disturbing experience.

i have recieved alot of very good advice over the past several weeks from the guys (and girl) on this board and it has definately helped me out alot with this big decision, afterall its quite a big decison for me to finally spend 30 g's on a truck, i am only 22 so thats alot of dough to me...

once again thanks alot you guys!!!

There ya go then...you've made your own decision. Get on with it then and be happy. ;):
