Illuminated Gauges

Okay I just did a search on this and couldnt find anything. I was wondering if I could get the gauges to light up while the lights were off/drl's on like on the newer 4Runners. I know that they do this because I test drove one before I bought mine and they were like this. It was a feature that I really liked. I was under the impression that all the limiteds were like this, but mine is not. Thanks for any help/info, and if someone does know where a possible thread is please let me know. Thanks.

Yes you can get it done.

Go to the dealer and request to have this tsb completed...

That is a cool mod. SO the instruments-because of the way they are recessed back in the dash are dim and you guys want them brighter so they kind of stand out to your eyes is that it?

I'm a bit dim myself...

I got to show this to the 3rd gen guys they will want to copy it somehow just watch....heck it probably already exists....
