I'm a new member in Florida

I just picked up a 1990 4 runner with the 3.0 5-speed 4x4. I love it aside from the fact that it smells terrible inside it is a very capable vehicle and lots of fun. Mine has 334k on the clock an the oodometer has stopped due to a faulty speedo cable but still pulls nice with no knocking. That being said I know eventually I'll probably be the guy to put a new motor in it. I've been looking through the forum at different engine swap options. Which would be the least expensive and easiest swap?

Whats it smell like? mold/mildew? hopefully not decomp j/k. Stanley Steamer in some locations offer vehicle services. Someone at work left a bag of groceries, paper bag now, in the car while on a month vacation in the FL heat. SS got the smell and the stain out.

I am also a new member in Florida.

I just purchased my first 4Runner on 10/26, but mine is the opposite of the OP. Its a 2016 Nautical Blue Metallic Trail Premium Edition. I would have started my own "hello" thread, but apparently you can't do that (even in the new member forum) until you hit a minimum number of replies.
