:sadwave:So ran power to my roof and used some **** that was laying around in my shed (it's a sealant) and it had like 12 hours to seal and it rained like ab***** this morning and my ****ing roof started leaking!!!!!!!!!! I guess it loosened up the sealant.

I pulled up to a burned down house under the car port to looked for something to seal my car with and all I had was:

1 used profalactic With the wrapper
Shampoo
A tow stap
a candle
And a lighter

So in a pinch I used the condom as a rain cap (push came to shove) and lit the candle, i dripped the hot wax all over the problem to create a seal tested it and it's holding up.


What should I put as a more permanent thing that's a lot faster drying!!?

The candle things was innovative, but now you have to clean that off to get a sealant to stick. Not sure how you are going to do that, maybe ammonia? That's going to be a pain in the ass.
 
Lol no really my roof was leaking!! What should I use to seal it up!? I tried some pluming stuff and it washed away!

And I would never put hot wax on my Johnson!

Well the wax can just be re heated then it will become easier to take off. Or just scrappe it off by hand.
 
This whole thread is giving me a headache. Between all the asterisks and the "used prophylactic", I cant figure out where/what you drilled. Atleast you got the thread title right.

Well I took the cap off of my rack (the front of the cap near the moon roof) and ran it through there. My dad told me to go to his house and put some silicon on it. That should solve my prob.

I wish my posts could be awesome like yalls "oh I just got a $1000 bumper and $800 lift!!!". And all I can think is, gosh I need a job.

I did not drill, I removed the front cap on my roof rack and there is a hole there. I fished it through there and that's where it's leaking.

I was just sharing how nothing ever works out for me :( and what type of sealer should I use
 
so explain why would you have a used rubber laying around, and why don't you just toss them out the window once you nutted instead of picking them back up and inventing other uses for it.
 
You need a job man lol.. Summer is kicking up, go work for a pool. If I was 19 I'd be at a job where I can scout "potential space" to be filled..... Hehe

Put the cap back on. I left a cap off of my roof rails when I was putting my Yakima bars on and thought no biggie. Turns out I had a little moisture leaking in. Problem solved by putting the missing cap back. No sealing, wax, or condoms needed.

Haha really when I pulled into that house I saw the condom there (no I didn't wear it or keep a used one in my runner. But yeah I'll be sealing it all up.

You guy are awesom for a laugh and helping me with my dumb questions,thanks I know they may be a little crazy but like they say "fat girls need love too"

And oh. The pool, if I had a 6pack like you stud muffins and have a super bad ass truck I might go for it, but I'm packing a kegger and for now I'm trying to start a company. I install tv's home theater shiz an all this stuff. Only hot a few jobs but it's getting better.

ok so i get this is a 4runner forum but why the hell are we all concerned about the leak in dudes 4runner when his house burned down while he was gone... and whats more sad is that he seams to give a chit about it too
your all F'd up! hope you had good home insurance and your parents arent too pissed you burnt the house down.

and why is your house under the car port? do you just have a really big car port or a really small house?
