Im getting real aggravated. LED blinker relay issues.

So i installed leds into all of my blinkers.
I installed a relay which corrects for hyperflashing however now when i apply the brakes there is powered applied to the blinkers. Not enough to fully light up the blinker but enough to be seen. I cannot figure out the problem and i have no idea how to fix it.
Anyone else have this problem?

The only thing i can think of is go back to halogen which i dont want to do plus i dropped and broke one of the halogen bulbs.

Btw, i used the tridon EP35 flasher relay from pepboys.

I think you need a load inducing resistor rather than a relay. You have to 'trick' the mechanical flasher unit that the led is drawing enough current to activate the flasher.

Yeah i guess so. But the hyperflashing does not occur so that makes me believe that it is 'tricking' the flasher unit. Oh well i guess ill have to try that then. Its weird that ive heard of other people using this and not having any issues.

Okay i just found something very odd...
I decided to remove the leds from the blinkers until i could find another relay.

I removed the rear leds from the blinkers and put the halogens back in but left the leds in the front turn signals. When i hit the brakes it no longer illuminated the blinkers.

So im thinking the relay i purchased was a 2led flasher and not a 4. Hyperflashing still does not occur...
