I'm having tire problems cant figure it out.

Last Feb 06 I got a set of Revos 265/70/17. I was disappointed with them at first because of all the raves about them and think the are great in wet & dry pavement , ride pretty ok too.

Well this winter I have 20k on them and now I think they really suck in snow. I literally have go almost come to a stop to around 90 degree corners. VSC kicks on during the corners and really easy from a stop also. really disappointed.

I've been trying to try different pressures and now have tried them as low as 32 psi to no avail , and in increments in 2's up to 40. Whats the ultimate PSI for all around winter driving / wheeling .

Whats your thoughts , any ideas ????

I've rotated them every 5k for the last 20k miles.

I've noticed this in the last 4 snow storms so its not an isolated thing.

They have got me me through , concerned about the lack of traction Im experiencing.

I had the same problem with the Revo's on my dodge after I had some miles on them. You may have to get threw this winter with them and buy some new skins next winter. Try some weight in the back this worked wonders on my old truck.

The Revo's are a great tire but I have found there are better A/T tires for snow driving.

I like the ride and they do good in rain/wet weather , but thats all I'll give them. I feel traction has decreased in 20 miles quite a bit. I thought that was not supposed to happen with the" Uni T " technology I talked to the Tire Plus dealer I got them at about it and he said ....uhhhhh they do have 20k more mile than when you bought them.

I called a friend who owns a tire store ( 3rd generation family run store and really into off roading & 4x4's ) They also sell Bridgestone , BFG , Mich , he just laughed and said , told you so.

Hopefully this summer I can do a 1" lift in front and throw on a set of BFG .

I know alot rave about these tire and I'm not going to say they are bad at all , but you must consider your expectations and uses for the tire you want . I jumped on the bandwagon here with them to try something new ..... mistake !! for my needs and wants out of a tire.
