OEM Accessory

That was (is?) an OEM accessory fo the 4th gen, although I have not seen it offered at toyota.com for the past couple of years - since 2005. Perhaps it was discontinued.

If I remember correctly the MSRP was/is in the $500 range. It may look nice from a afar, but it is just cheap plastic. I have seen several cracked ones on 4Runners in my area.

Probably THE cheapest made "bumper guard" offered for the 4th gen. Really more of a trim piece than anything else.

damn! i'm looking for something to put up front as i know that over here everyone likes to "bump" a little.

also i was used ot the thick steel tubes i had on my defender...

Search for a bar called EUROTECH here , it is steel and follows the same line as that bar.

I have never seen that setup for the updated 06+ front bumpers.

Wonder how they ever priced that sport bumper - is at best a $75 piece. Guess the safety guys dictated plastic so it wouldn't affect air bag deployment. Even black rubber dagmars would be nice addition front and rear - just to ward off parking lot idiots.
