I'm never ordering from YotaMafia.com again

3 deliveries so far, 5 weeks have passed and $2000 spent and I still don't have all my parts that were ordered. Maybe not so much YotaMafia as it is the warehouse that supplies them which is Transamerican Auto Parts | Life is Better Off-Road™. Every shipment I have received that was drop shipped from TransAmerican Auto Parts has been missing items. I ordered 5th gen stage 2 lift kit with UCA's and a 4th gen Bilstein 5100 kit.

First shipment arrived 9 days after placing my order on July 1st. UCA, OME front springs and rear 5100's. 2nd shipment arrived 4 days later on July 5th and was front 5100's for 4th gen 4runner (This completed the 4th gen 5100 lift). I immediately called YotaMafia and told them I’m missing half the parts I ordered for the 5th gen. They called TransAmerican and said the fronts are on back order and he was never notified and will track some down asap and get them sent.

July 16th I get a tracking number and was told it would have the missing parts (5100'ss front and rear, rear OME springs). The package arrives on July 18th I receive the parts and it's missing the 5th gen Rear 5100's. I call up YotaMafia even though it's almost 9pm in Florida and they answer. They're pissed as well as I that TransAmerican messed up again.

I call YM the next day and he said TransAmerica is sending the parts that day July 19th and I should get them Monday and should have a tracking soon. Monday rolls around and no tracking so I call YM and they said it never sent on Friday but sent "today" July 22nd. I finally get the tracking number and it said expected delivery day Monday July 29th which means another weekend wasted waiting for parts. I couldn't even get next day for order and order that has been FUBAR to many times. I wouldn't be surprised that this order is ****ed up somehow.

I've been super patient this whole time, never raised my voice but have expressed my pissed off-ness many times. I just wanted to vent because I've wasted so many planned weekends to get my lift done and so much money. To be honest I'm not even excited to get these parts or excited to lift my 4runner anymore.

Hell it took me over 3 months to get one of their hats, that was in stock. Once it arrived I raffled it off on IG. I have no desire to support them. I know other people that have had your same issue. Yes, a lot of companies drop ship, at the end of the day your name is on the product. If you continue to let this happen you'll eventually have post like the one above. Hopefully one day they will get it fixed.

I wouldn't order from a place named "yotamafia". If they don't take naming their business seriously, i won't seriously consider giving them my money.

4th gen lift kit

Lol same story here. It took a few tries for them to get my 4th Gen Bilstein kit all together as well. Did he offer you a free shirt? haha, cause I never got that as well. :zoom:

So moral of the story....yotamafia just orders through 4x4parts/transamerica so you are probably better off just ordering direct from them to avoid a middleman.

Every time I see "yotamafia" mentioned, I imagine brohams with tall socks and shorts and girls in trucker hats with energy drink stickers all over their trucks.

Wow, 3 months for a hat? He said he'd make it up to me for all the trouble but how? I'll never order from them again and I'm not putting any of that merch on my body or my truck.

Such a nightmare. I'm still waiting for a refund as I canceled the assembly of the shocks and still haven't received that.

This is what I get for trying to find the best deal:wacko:I should have just bought locally or bought from a more reputable place. What got me was he was super helpful in the beginning and shipping rates were $250 less than anywhere else. The Ole' Bait and switch is what it feels like now.

Looks to me that Transamerican Auto Parts | Life is Better Off-Road™ is a conglomerate of companies. I ordered rear spring spacers from 4wheelparts that was stated it will fit my 4runner, it did not. I returned it to their local store.
I ordered a compressor from smittybuilt.com that was not mentioned is backordered. After 2 weeks waiting for an update I had to call two days until I was able to talk with a person. I was told it's backordered and I have to wait another 3 weeks until its available, mid Aug now.
I ordered rear Bilstein shocks from 4wheelparts, 1 was send right away, the second, guess what, was backordered. Had to leave my 4runner on the driveway for 2 weeks.

I don't know what the deal is with transamericanautoparts but I will try to stay away from them next time as it looks to me alot like bait and switch as they charge you when you place the order not when it is shipped.

Nailed it.

That sucks, the owner of YotaMafia seemed like a cool guy too. TransAmerican is not helping him at all by screwing over his customers.

I just got back from UPS and finally received the last two rear Bilstein 5100's. Now, I'm still waiting for my $175 assembly fee and I'm done with this fiasco. :redbrick:

I had some dealer parts shipped from Pa. to DC, by way of Orlando.

Thanks to FedEx Ground... :trophy:

Just Saying....

i think i need to go back and cancel my order with them, after reading this thread. i ordered my OME 891s because they were selling for 175.00. but its been 6 days and they say they are still processing my payment eventhough i paid through Paypal and it processed instantly electronically.

Price-wise he had the best pricing including shipping. But after 6 weeks I wish I had paid a little more and bought locally.

Let us know how your refund goes. I'm still waiting for my refund after they said it was taken care of July 19th and "looking into it" on July 29th.

Transamerican wholesale & ARB are out of stock on them at the moment and will not be getting anymore until 8/16ish.

We can do them for $162 delivered, but they are not yet in stock.
