Hey im new here, i just got rid of my IS300 and purchased a 07 4Runner... I wanted to know whats this whole thing with the Silverstar is and what does it do? More brighter with a white Tint? I had piaa bulbs on my matrix which were really nice..Anyone hear anything about these for this car PIAA

I have the PIAA's on mine right now. I still think Silverstars would be better, but for now they don't make an H-11 size bulb. The PIAA's work fine though, way better than stock at least. But when silverstars come out with H-11 I will most likely switch over. PIAA's are probably one of the best for 07+ lowbeams.

It all depends on if you want to spend $80 on a single pair of bulbs. It was worth it for me.

I used to have 4000 K PIAA but @ 51 watt draw those were weak. I use 7000 K Nokya and happy with it. Blue wavelenght of Nokya's makes them look dimer than yellowish 4000 K PIAA on the wet road. Note: Lemans drivers use 2000 K color bulbs to improve visibility in rain. For lit street, bulb color is just a personal preferance and there is little advantage to use one or the other.
