im ready to lift!!

ok so i have a 95 2wd and want a mild lift. thinking spacers and rear coils? i plan on running my stock rims and the dunlop 31's(alll brand new tires):vader: that are on there OPINIONS please!!!

You can fit those 31s without a lift.

do not! use balljoint spacers unless you lower your diff...you will end up screwed in about 3 weeks when your cv shafts bind up and ruin your diff, shafts, tie rods and ball joints, like me. spend a little extra now, ytou will be glad! it cost me around 600 to do the bj spacers and lc rear coils, that price includes wheel spacers and new ball joints and hardware, compressor rental exct. for 800 bucks go with the rough country 4 inch sus lift. or, for looks or bigger tires, do a 2 inch bodylift for around 250 bucks and not risk your sus. just my 2 cents man. good luck!

i cant beleive he spent so much!!!! i have maybe 60 bucks into a lift. (i dont know how much lift but im taller than a stock truck that has a 3.5 inch body lift that sits on 32's) and im running 33's my cv's dont bind at all and ive had it at full flex. i thinksomthing went wrong with his truck like install and stuff. idk im not hating but its just crazy how much less expencive stuff is if you just look.

Sounds to me as he installed the spacers and still cranked his torsion bars up. With auto hubs, I can see killing a CV in 3 weeks.

The spacers are made to add more articulation and a smoother ride, not so much lift it.

my bad, didnt know hes 2wd. sorry! yeah..i didnt realize the torsion bars had that much effect. im still learning, expensively though. my diff to wheel hub drop was abouyt 4 1/2 to 5 inches. anyone tell me how to adjust the bars? cant seen to grasp it though ive googled the hell out of it. thanks for the patience guys
